Caitlin and Shane traveled all the way from Australia to tie the knot in Las Vegas. They did not want a typical Vegas wedding, but were looking for something very special and unique. They decided on the ceremony with a Special Memory wedding chapel in Valley of Fire. Valley of Fire State Park is a public recreation and nature preservation area covering nearly 46,000 acres (19,000 ha) located 16 miles (26 km) south of Overton, Nevada. It is only about one hour away drive from Las Vegas Strip. Valley of Fire derives its name from red sandstone formations, the Aztec Sandstone, which formed from shifting sand dunes 150 million years ago. These features, which are the centerpiece of the park’s attractions, often appear to be on fire when reflecting the sun’s rays and are perfect background for a unique desert wedding.
Here are a few photos from this beautiful Las Vegas desert wedding. The weather was absolutely perfect and we came up with some amazing wedding photos.
