You may haven’t think of a virtual wedding, but it is really helpful if you don’t want a long term delay for your wedding.
A 5-Step Guide to Planning a Virtual Wedding
-
Choose a platform
The first step for you is to choose a platform for hosting your virtual wedding ceremony. There are a couple of platforms available, but Zoom and Facebook Live are two of the most famous and reliable options. If you choose Facebook Live streaming, you need to create a private group of people for the guests to join, in order to participate in the wedding. Ask a friend or relative to catch screenshots during the ceremony so that you can include photographs of your guests to your wedding album. In case of using Zoom, you can involve about 100 participants in the event with a small monthly fee. It also offers a cloud recording feature which captures the moments of the celebration. Thus, your wedding events go on, including your speeches but everyone has to enjoy them from home.
-
Arrange for the proper tools
In the event that you need to plan a virtual wedding, you’re going to require the proper tools. These include:
- a laptop, a tablet or a cellphone (with a fine camera)
- a tripod
- and a good internet connection
The use of right devices ensures quality streaming of the event. You just need to check the available assembly of tools for smooth running, before the ceremony.
-
Coordinate with the vendors of the event
You need to coordinate with a few essential vendors for the ceremony rather than involving all of them. The most important one is the photographer who can actively take part in the event while following the social distancing norms. The next one is the baker who brings you joy by delivering the dream wedding cake. You can also arrange a nice meal, drink, flowers and candles for you and your partner.
Above all, you need to get your marriage license signed and mailed in as soon as possible. For this your officiant can join the two of you in-person or lead the wedding event online. Just make sure that you follow the marriage laws during the ceremony.
-
Inform your Guests
Now, that you have finally come up with the plan of having virtual wedding, you need to inform your guests about it. Here, prove yourself smart by sending out virtual invites that save both your time and energy. A number of platforms such as Greenvelope and Paperless Post are now available that permit you to make advanced wedding invites that can be messaged to your visitors. Simply make sure to incorporate the link to your Zoom or Facebook Live streaming.
You may likewise need to include some additional data, for example, how the visitors can mute their videos at certain moments during the ceremony. On the off chance that you will catch screen captures for your wedding album, let your visitors know with the goal that they can dress up accordingly. Just don’t forget to ask your guests about their favorite music pieces, so that you can all enjoy the dance party.
-
Get yourself prepared for the Big Day
Despite the fact that you’re having a virtual wedding, you still need to make some prior arrangements. First comes the rehearsal for live streaming. There, you need to check for the technical setup and ensure its smooth working. Discuss certain things with your partner, like starting the ceremony together or making it traditional by walking down the aisle. Also decide whether you or your partner is going to take the start. Also, guide your photographer about the sequence of events accordingly.
Just don’t forget to record the streaming of the ceremony. You will likewise need to check the delivery times and dates with your vendors to ensure that everything is all lined up in a sequence. At the end, prepare your wedding dress, a dream hairstyle and makeup for the Big Day. At the wedding day, you may like to involve yourself in a private conversation with your wedding party so that you can relish their deep love for you.
You’re good to go! Since you’re prepared. Just don’t forget to enjoy and appreciate each second of your extraordinary day together. Keep in mind, there will be a lot of time to celebrate face to face with those you love, once this is totally done
There are a lot of places in Las Vegas to have photos taken. Yet I think one of the coolest places for a fun photo shoot is Nevada Nelson Landing. The location is so beautiful that I can’t imagine anyone not wanting to take photos in it. You can’t go wrong with a Nelson Landing Photo session.
When the area was called El Dorado it was a hot spot for buried gold. Hundreds of years later it became a mining community. It put the area on the map by producing lead, silver, gold and copper worth multi-millions.
The historic relevancy of Nevada Nelson Landing makes it the perfect spot for everything from engagement photos to elopements. Its rustic ambiance makes it easy to capture the location’s ambiance. You are surrounded by desert containing a plethora of old barns and cars.
Now though of as a ghost town, it is a location you can’t soon forget. Not only are the locals extremely friendly and accommodating, the area has this uniquely rustic feel that can transform even the most hard core city girl. Here are just a few of the reasons why you shouldn’t pass up the chance to experience a Nelson Landing photo session.
Active Mines
For the following reasons, taking photos here is an amazing experience:
- active mines dating back to 1858
- its historical significance: Civil War deserters helped build the area
- the site of a major gold strike
I don’t know about you, but I can’t think of anywhere else where you can get such original and creative engagement/elopement photos. There are so many locations in Las Vegas that have been photographed over and over. If you’re like me and you think outside the box, wouldn’t you rather have your photos done here than in front of the famous “Welcome To Las Vegas” sign?
How to get to Nevada Nelson’s Landing?
Now if I’ve helped you see the light, and you can’t wait to have your photos taken here, you may be wondering how to get to Nelson. Leaving Las Vegas, you’ll need to head in the direction of Henderson. You should pass it but stop just short of passing Boulder City. All you need to do is take a right turn and enter 95 South. Ten miles later you will see is 165. Then you simply follow Centennial Marker #9 to El Dorado Canyon. Once you’ve passed the mines you will see the Public Recreation Area and a sign will direct you straight to Nelson. When you arrive you will be directed to the building where you should check in.
Session Info
Adventurous elopement photos never turn out better than when they are taken at Nelson Landing. An engagement photo session costs $10 per hour while elopement and wedding shoots are $15 an hour. Ideally, your photo session will be 2 hours long, making the cost $20 to $30 depending on what you are there for. This past Saturday we were fortunate to work with Adam and Marlene on their Las Vegas Wedding at Flamingo Gazebo. If you are looking for an intimate wedding with a tropical feel, Flamingo Hotel is an excellent choice.
This beautiful gazebo where this ceremony took place is set in the Flamingo’s back gardens and very close to other gorgeous areas with palm trees, flowers, waterfalls and ivy.
Marlene and Adam’s ceremony was absolutely beautiful, filled with love, a lot of fun and unforgettable moments.
After the ceremony we took group photos with all the excited guests and a lot of family photos.
The fun did not stop here. We had a huge party bus to continue with the whole wedding party for other fun Las Vegas places.
Next stop- The Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas Sign.
The Las Vegas Sign is a very popular Vegas landmark and it is usually a very busy place; this time it was no different. Despite that we were able to find a great side angle of the sign, we ended up with some great images of our happy newlywed couple and their wedding party.
Next stop- Beautiful Venetian Hotel with short yet, very effective romantic photo shoot for our couple and their two beautiful children.
Our night ended at The Westgate hotel where Marlene and Adam celebrated their Las Vegas Wedding at Flamingo Gazebo during a fun reception.
It was a fun day and we were so honored to be a part of it. Our big congratulations on a new beginning, much love and happiness.

From the first phone conversation with Shirline we had an incredible connection.
I loved her idea about a drive thru wedding in Las Vegas and I knew we would have a lot of fun and tons of great photo opportunities. My excitement went down a bit when I found out that her fiancé and she planned their drive thru wedding Las Vegas on the day I was already booked. But that did not stop us. After few more phone calls they decided to move their wedding to the following day when my team and I were available.
I cannot event tell you how much fun we had during their wedding day. Shirline and Debra’s wedding ceremony was held at a Special Memory Chapel. Two beautiful brides showed up in style, in a black Chevy Camero convertible. Their drive thru wedding Las Vegas was like no other wedding we photographed. Yes, it was very unconventional but still very beautiful and intimate and of course fun!
After the drive thru ceremony we went to Nelson Landing for their post wedding photo session. Nelson is an old Ghost Town with few original buildings and filled with lots of old time props – gas station signs, rusted-out and antique cars and many more.
During our wedding photo session at Nelson we have created a lot of awesome romantic images but also we had some more fun. We staged a few photos with funny underline stories.
Here is the sneak peek from the amazing wedding day of Shirline and Debra. I hope you will enjoy it as much as we enjoyed creating these images.
Congratulations to the newlywed couple- Shirline & Debra!

This past October we had the pleasure to photograph the beautiful fall Canyon Gate Country Club Wedding of Angela and Curtis.
Since our first meeting we had an instant great rapport and I was very happy when they chose me as their wedding photographer. Their wedding day was nothing short of perfection. Angela got ready at JW Marriott in Summerlin, the hotel, which is only few minutes away from Canyon Gate. We did all there bride and bridesmaid photos as well to make sure bride and groom did not see each other before the ceremony. Curtis was getting ready at Canyon Gate. The ceremony was absolutely beautiful and very emotional since they included their kids in it.
The grounds at the Canyon Gate in Las Vegas make a gorgeous backdrop for wedding photos and we took full advantage of that. You can see the examples below. We ended up with lots of amazing fall Canyon Gate Country Club wedding photos. The wedding reception was so much fun. All decorations were amazing and the center prices were donated after the wedding. That was a very nice gesture from bride and groom. Another great touch during their wedding reception was a Blushing Bride signature drink. We did not try it (since we were working) but it look absolutely delicious. Everybody who attended the wedding had a lot of fun and the dance floor was full all night. Angela and Curtis were surrounded by loving family and friends on their wedding day and it showed through the whole day. Their fun wedding day ended with a spectacular sparkle exit.
Our huge congratulations on a beautiful wedding and best wishes to lucky newlyweds.

Armando and Ellen are an amazing couple and we were over the moon when they hired us to photograph their DragonRidge Country Club Wedding.
I met the groom years ago when I was photographing his sister’s wedding and now it was his turn. We had a lot of fun during their engagement session at Bad Owl Coffee shop and we knew that the wedding would be even better. They are hard-core fans of Doctor Who and this was their theme through the engagement and wedding day. Ellen looked gorgeous in her beautiful wedding dress and Armando looked very handsome in his suit. The wedding ceremony took place by the pool and it was filled with happy emotions. During the ceremony both Ellen and Armando presented their daughters with their rings, which symbolized the unity of this newly formed family. There was not dry eye left at that time.
The ceremony was followed by a fun wedding reception in a very newly renewed banquet hall.
The grand entrance of the bride and groom was spectacular. They entered the room holding in their hands props from Doctor Who TV Show surrounded by smoke. Their wedding cake was very unique and the backdrop behind the head table was custom created by newlyweds and looked like it came from not this world. The wedding speeches’ were also very emotional, but when it came time to party the whole room was on their feet.
We absolutely loved being part of this DragonRidge Country Club Wedding. We wish the newlyweds all the best on their new journey together. Your family is beautiful inside and out. Thank you so much for choosing us to preserve your wedding day memories.
If you are looking for a very intimate wedding venue, DragonRidge could be an answer. Check out some photos from this beautiful wedding!
